Thinking about quitting
I've recently found purpose in my life.. I started smoking in hopes that it DOES slowly kill me.. But now the thought of having a family and living through life are now on the table and I want a better life to be with my future family...

Abbypizza, I think the first thing you should do is talk to your doctor.  Life is too precious to just give up and if you're serious about a future family and really want to quit then we will be here to support you, encourage you and help you in any way we can.  Please read some of the previous posts to see what to expect and how to proceed.  Wishing you all the best, Lucille.

Abby, life is about priorities. It sounds as though you are starting to get your's straight: Living life because of the wonderful possibilities the future might hold vs hiding behind a curtain of regret because you haven't yet reached some of your goals.
Understand that as a smoker, you are a nicotine addict. Quitting is challenging so be sure you are mentally and emotionally prepared for an extended challenge before you start out. Here's the good news ...... once you manage to solidify your quit, you will be bursting with pride and that alone will carry over into all other aspects of your life; not to mention the multitude of benefits to being smoke free. Take back your life Abby! It's worth it and it's possible 😉
