Well It's day 17 today, Yeah ! Having a rough few days though as I picked up a cold that went into my chest and it's really making me feel crappy. Perhaps that and sore muscles are all part of the "smoker's flu" ?? Anyway, I am positively sure that I will never smoke again as I don't want to go through these first few weeks again ever..... I'll stick to the mantra, NOPE NOPE NOPE !! Looking forward to being a non-smoker. I hope everyone is doing well and it is so nice to know that we are not going through this alone. Keep up the good work everyone and stay strong.....it is soo worth it 😊💕

Carole, you ARE a nonsmoker already and have been for 17 days now. Congrats on that and keep marching. Better days are ahead. Get well soon! Being a nonsmoker will shorten the recovery time for you as you're no longer putting all those nasty chemicals into your struggling lungs.

Carole,   I know that you have it in you to do this one last time and you'll succeed in quitting for good.  You've proven over and over again you have what it takes and yes you are totally worth it.  Christmas will be here soon and what greater gift to give yourself than to be free from this addiction once and for all and to send that grinch of a nicodemon packing.  Good on you and congratulations on 17 days.  Stay positive and stay strong, hugs, Lucille.
