My quit date is tomorrow but I just smoked my last cigarette so I guess I’m starting a bit early.

Good for you Jake, this is a decision that you will never regret. What helped me was to keep a list of the reasons why I was quitting handy so that I could refer to it when cravings hit. Also, sticking to the motto "NOPE" (Not one puff ever) helped. Wishing you all the very best and I hope you keep posting on this forum as the people here are a wonderful support for us!

All the best Jake! I have nothing but faith in your ability to get this job DONE! Remember that number if you need to talk or have questions 1-877-455-2233, reaching out is not a weakness but a very wise thing to do in the long run.

Jake, I've noticed from your posts that you are willing to partner up with anyone else who is quitting.  That is a wonderful way to support yourself as well as others,  as sharing is an important step towards success.  Never let it be said that this is impossible to do,  it's totally doable and with the help from the Quitnow family here on the forum you're more likely to reach your destination.  Please read what others have written here on the forum as there are many tips and ideas that will help you get started.  Greg gave you an important number to call should you need to formulate a plan.  Use it, it's free and will give you peace of mind.  I congratulate you on starting your quit sooner as it will definitely give you a head start to accomplishing your goal and the benefits are such that you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.  Good on you and kudos on your decision.  Look forward to a life that is healthy and remain strong.  Reach out if you need to,  you're never alone.  Hugs, Lucille.

Hows your day 1 going Jake? It's been almost 11 hours for me. We gotta feel proud of ourselves for not picking up a cigarette.
