Washington State Ban
Just wondered if anyone caught part of the meeting today in the state of Washington to put the ban in place for flavoured Vape products. It seems that it got fairly heated, on both sides, there were a number of people upset because they will be losing their jobs with the closure of the shops and also a number of  ex-smokers that said they would’ve never been able to quit had they not have started vaping. It will be interesting to see who follows.

Yes and Los Angeles is considering banning them too.  All Vape products
I do feel for the business owners.  They are generally just small business people whose could really be devastated by the ban.   But we gotta do something to get these out of the hands of the youth!

Vaping is the wild west of nicotine delivery industry right now and with how we all got bamboozled by big tobacco back in the 40's, 50's & 60's (watch the Tobacco Wars series on You Tube if you haven't already) it's no wonder legislators are getting proactive in the light of recent health issues related to vaping.
There may be a place for vaping - I don't know but I DO know it's not in the hands of kids and if I'm gonna use vaping to quit smoking cigarettes, I don't need to have my vape juice called "cotton candy or bubble gum"! This is clearly a push toward marketing the product to youth. Too bad about the small guy running the shops but that's a choice they made at some point. I can't believe all of them didn't know what was going on within the vape industry.
I also believe Canada should be doing a lot more than they are in terms of regulations around marketing & sale of vape products. Come on Health Canada ..... Wake Up 🥱

Yep...  Adrien Dix has promised a B.C. plan this month.. we shall see what he comes up with
My personal strategy is to start with the parents at my kids high school next week.  Hopefully create a bit of a group include the principal and then spill our movement into the neighbouring high schools and the district Super Independent. I would like to see a Zero Tolerance policy at the schools for anyone caught with a Vape pen or whatever.  One strike.  Currently its up to 5 strikes before a kid gets suspended.  I’m not into suspending kids honestly and have many opinions about the school system that are not favourable BUT suspension gets people’s attention fast.  It shows the actual seriousness of this issue.  This is deadly serious and we need to treat it so
I’m also considering a legal petition demanding government action but what that exact action is I’m not clear.  And what government.  I’m also furious with Health Canada and really want to take them on.  They failed miserably here and people will die.
Tuesday I get to meet the parents.  Fingers crossed I find some outrage.
I will keep you all posted and will be looking for your support.

Saw it on the news this morning. Hope more countries jump on the bandwagon and ban these.  Otherwise our youth will always be at risk and they deserve better health and longer lives.  What will it take for everyone to get on board.  Canada is one country that needs to do something now, come on Canada get with the program.
