I’m on the 14 mg patch. Day 10. I want to try to do the whole regime but already finding the 14 mg too strong.  Feeling dizzy a bit from it.  I’ve read not to cut patches.  And I have a load of 14 mg patches still to use.  Any feedback?

    I was a 6 - 10 cigarette per day smoker.

How strong are your cravings? If you are dealing pretty well with them then how about going to the 7mg path (stage 3) If you were only smoking 10 smokes a day your nicotine intake was likely somewhere between the 14mg & 7 mg patch anyway. So you have some 14 mg patches left over. No big deal in the grand scheme of things.
That's my input but you may also want to nip down to the pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist about it as well. They will know more that I did.
Just so you know, I started on the 21mg patch and used them for 2 days. Forgot to put it on day 3 and just said, screw it! Ended up fine in the end although it was a bit of a rough ride for a couple weeks. I ended up giving my left over patches to a smoker friend for when they traveled by flight because that's always an issue for smokers - long haul flights. Not any more though once you quit!

Good advice. I will see pharmacist tomorrow.  Last time I went cold turkey and got through a lot by being tuff minded
This time I am more scared and the patch gives me comfort.  I hope to get to that place sooner than later to let them go and go off the nicotine.

Savingme , your best bet would be to talk to your pharmacist and see what he recommends.  I used lozenges for the first week then went cold turkey from then on.  It was difficult but doable all the same.  If using the patch helps than do what you have to, to stay quit.  You can also speak to one of the quitcoaches and ask for info on what to do.  Hang in there and just do your best, Lucille.

7 mg patch is fine . Add nicotine 2mg gum 1 or 2 per day.
