Day 3, not a bad day, but not great either. feeling myself getting a little "snippy" with people, like my husband and my son. Put on a patch this afternoon, and went out, when I| got home, I changed attire, and realized the patch was gone lol, I dont know how long it was gone, but it fell off at some point. So I went the rest of the day without one. Also finding that I am not hungry during the day, but by dinner I am starving, so I guess I should force myself to eat more during the day, I am feeling very scared of gaining weight during my quit. I recently lost 33 pounds before I quit, and with being under the weather, I am not able to go to the pool for my aquafit program for the passed 2 weeks, and am feeling really anxious about it. Any hints??

Figure out some healthy snacks you can munch on throughout the day (low fat, low sugar low sodium) and drink plenty of water ..... lots of water 🥛 Keeps your tummy filled temporarily and is real low in calories. Try to keep as close to your pre-quit eating routine & volumes as possible. Exercising is also key. Even going for a walk each day burns calories and works the muscles, also keeps you occupied and gives you some "alone time" which you need to fill that space left by not smoking. Most important; remember that you can always figure out a way to lose weight after your quit is secured so your focus right now it your quit. In my books being smoke free is way healthier that adding a few pounds. Priorities. Don't take too much on at once. Quitting is job #1 for now 😉

Shannon, take out your frustrations on us instead of your family. Take a load off here on the forum, it really helps and don’t worry we won’t take it personally as we’ve all felt the same way at one time or another. Much love, Lucille. ❤️💁‍♀️🤗
