Quit 375 days ago
Last night I had a very hard time falling asleep so I slept in today. When I woke up I didn't put the patch on until I left the house which was after dinner.  At some point while I was out, it fell off but I didn't notice until I was home and I was wondering why I was suddenly having sudden intense cravings. I do want to ween myself off the patch so I'm thinking to mix things up and perhaps not put it on first thing in the morning and take it off when I come home instead of wearing it until bedtime. I'm also hoping this will help my insomnia that I've been having since being on the patch. Has anyone else done something similar?

Naomi,  do what you have to and if it works for you, so be it.  If you need more answers as I didn't use the patch ask your pharmacist or quit coach. Best of luck, Lucille.

Whenever I have tried patches in the past, I've had to take them off when I went to bed or I would never sleep.

Last night I took it off a bit earlier and also took some melatonin and had the best sleep I’ve had for 2 weeks since not smoking. I’m going to go down a stage and hopefully ween myself off the patch soon:)
