I have an essay due this Sunday. Any tips on clearing the mental fog?

Hi Lindsay, great to hear you are planning ahead for coping with withdrawals. Some helpful tips for improving concentration after quitting are: getting outside for fresh air, exercise, drinking cold water, getting extra rest, and chewing gum (even regular gum) can help us focus. Remember to take breaks to do something for yourself, even if it is a few minutes of gentle stretches to get the blood flowing. Good luck with your essay.

Lindsay,  try meditation, sit up straight  in a comfortable chair, close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing.  Take deep breaths, count to five and exhale.  Feel yourself relax from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.  Concentrate on the tension leaving your body.  It really helps when you are quitting.  Also drink lots of water and give the quit coaches a call at 1-877-455-2233 for more tips.  Good luck with your essay and congrats on your 4 day quit.  Much love, Lucille.

Lindsay11, I remember those foggy days.  Both Lucille and Melissa gave you some great advice.  Good luck with your paper, what is it on?
