I’m stopping smoking tomorrow - Day 1. I’m so sick and tired of my filthy habit. I quit before so I know I can do it. I went back to smoking worse than ever before. Feel depressed, sick and body hurts. I need to believe I can do this! I’m glad this forum is here 💜

Yes I have 1 cigarette left until 1159pm tonight too. Yes we can help and encourage each other. This addiction kills and I will not be one of the statistics.

Good luck, both of you! I'm 34 hours without a smoke and quite bi-polar lol one minute I'm thinking how easy this is and why didnt I do this years ago, and the next I'm pacing around and doing my distractions thinking that this is the hardest thing I've ever done... but those negative feelings never last. So worth it

Thank you Avenn. Wonderful to hear you're 34 hours smoke free! You can do this too. I realize the first 3 days can be the hardest but it's going to be so worth it as you say! Thank you again. Leia

Isn't that always the way it is Leia if we go back to smoking, we end up smoking more than we did before we quit! YUK!!
You have quit before so stick to what worked and redo what you did wrong. You are fortunate to be getting another chance at pushing this killer out of your life. You owe nothing to nicotine, give it the BOOT! Good riddance. Remember NOPE (Not One Puff Ever). Cheers to you

Leia08, never doubt yourself.  If you are comitted to do what's right for you,  you'll definitely succeed.  Don't look back on the mistakes you made in the past, look forward to the day when you can say,  "I'm Free,  I've done what I accomplished to do and I'm proud of who I am,  take that nicodemon and go back to where the sun don't shine."  If you are feeling unwell, please visit your doctor as he may be able to help.  Try yoga or meditation to try and relax and keep a journal so that you can write down your troubles during the day and put them away at night.  Then you can rethink in the morning and begin your day off right.  I don't know wether you've ever called the quit coaches as it would be helpful if you did, they can offer encouragement and support and get you through the days ahead.  Give them a call, it doesn't cost anything and you'll feel better for it. 1-877-455-2233.  In the meantime take it one day and one step at a time and say NOPE (Not One Puff Ever) to yourself often.  Believe in yourself and you'll go far.   Much love, Lucille,

You guys have got this! Remember a moment of craving is only a moment. Reassure yourself, “this feeling won’t last, breath through it and count the moments” let it ride and acknowledge your success once again! Day 3 was a huge challenge but I got through it and amazingly, I am on day 7! 35 years of being a slave to poison is done! I am stronger for it, I am grateful for taking on this challenge and I will remain full of gratitude for putting my body to task. My slightly healthier body now!
