I talk to my coach tonight. Been over a week now since i bought a pack. Still getting a few puffs a day want to do without. Getting tobacco anyway i can. One may think this is very unhygeinic but ive got to stop myself from buying them otherwise i just cant control myself. Feel sick when i do take a few puffs.

Hi Penny - I understand what you mean. I can’t control myself either when I have a pack of smokes - I literally chain smoke until I feel sick and disgusted with myself. I am really struggling to make a commitment to quit but I just found this community last night and it really helps to read the loving, non-judgmental comments from those who are also trying to get to a quit date or are already on the quit journey. I’ve done it before for a substantial amount of time and can do it again - so can you! ❤️

Penny,  take it one day and one step at a time and you’ll be able to do what’s best for you.  Try to stay away from all paraphernalia that may induce you to smoke and see your pharmacist about nicotine replacement products that will help.  When your quit day arrives let us know and we’ll help you as much as we can. Hugs, Lucille 🚭👍❤️🤗🎗🙋‍♀️

For sure you need to get rid of all smoking materials once you decide to quit. It's just way too tempting if they are within reach. Even dirty ashtrays etc. Get rid of them right away. Show yourself and your addiction that you are truly committed to a better life!
Congrats on your decision to quit Penny! Best thing you could possibly do for yourself.

Penny, any coach would be very proud of where you have come thus far and kudos for your positive thinking and telling us that you want to do without it. I believe in you and indeed you can do this! Congrats
