Hmmm...my quit story... Well I'v tried and tried many times...this time I know I'm done... my dad called one day about 4 months ago now and told me he was diagnosed with lymphoma...which I know is controllable to some extent...one lymph node was giving him major grief so the docs went in and tried to remove it...unknown to anyone.. he also had terminal lung cancer which was discovered while they were removing the lymph node and told him that he probably had this cancer for at least 6 yrs.
My dad was a chronic smoker of approx. 3 packs of cigarettes a day. At this time I was smoking at least a pack a day.. anyway the docs gave him 6 months..I went to take care of him while he withered away from cancer caused by his smoking. Watching your parent die from cancer is a terrible experience..this is my story.. * am now smoke free for a month and two days...I love u dad...
