I had surgery on Sept 14th 2009 and when I woke up I was on oxygen and still having problems breathing. I decided I was not going to be one of those patients in my night gown standing on the road with my IV in my arm having a cigarette. I was in PGRH for 4 days smoke free.

My husband smokes outside and is very supportive, and working in health care has been an eye opener. I have slipped up a few times and am working on it with phone counselling. Good Luck to all!
