Healthcare Providers Overview

This section of quitnow.ca is designed to make it easier for healthcare providers to help smokers quit. Providers of healthcare play a vital role to play in helping their patients to stop smoking. Did you know even a brief 3-minute intervention can increase the likelihood a patient will quit by 30 percent?

Fax Referral Service

Our Fax Referral Service is a program designed to make it easy for health care providers to refer their patients/clients to QuitNow By Phone for assistance to quit smoking. In addition to making it convenient, our QuitNow By Phone CareCoaches ensure healthcare providers receive follow up indicating whether or not their patients/clients have committed to a quit date.

Video Gallery

The videos in our video gallery were produced in collaboration with local addiction medicine experts to demonstrate how easy it is for healthcare providers to address tobacco use with patients/clients who smoke and refer them to QuitNow Services for counselling and support.

Patient Resources

The online order system at QuitNow.ca is very popular with BC healthcare providers as it provides a convenient way to access and order a range of quit smoking materials at the click of a mouse.
